Tennis Ball Throw and Retrieve | The dog will stay behind a start line. Upon signal, the owner will throw a tennis ball at least 50 feet and the ball must be retrieved and brought back across start line.The dog must release the ball to its owner and time stops when the owner has at least one foot in a hoop placed 3 ft behind the start line. Obstacle Course Wacky Style! | Dog and owner start on the "couch", jump off, dog or owner eats a treat, go through a large "doggie door", and weave through cones, run around an object 3 times, return through same items and end up on the "couch" with all 6 legs off the ground. | All Sizes | |

Tug -O-War for Judges | The dog and owner will show the dog's tenacity in a "tug-o-war" demonstration. Points will be awarded for the overall "enjoyment" and "strength" the dog seems to exhibit. | All Sizes | |

Hurdles | Dog will jump over a series of hurdles, 10 feet apart (Small dogs: 6 inch hurdles / Large dogs: 12 inch hurdles) Owner will guide dog on leash. | Small and Large Catagories | |
| Flying Disc Catch | Each dog will have 2 attempts to catch a Flying Disc (Frisbee). Judges will rate each catch based on difficulty of catch (eg. height, distance thrown, agility). A panel of judges will award a score between 1-10. | All Sizes | ||

Weighted Rope Pull | The dog will pull small weights attached to a bungie cord for greatest distance. The weights will accumulate the farther the dog travels. | Medium and Large Catagories | |

Free Syle (Tricks) | Owners will be given 45 seconds to have their pet perform a trick, or stunt in front of the panel of judges. Points will be awarded on promptness of tricks, creativity, and apparent difficulty. |

The Pet Parade generally happens at the beginning of the National Pet Games event. This is a way to make sure you and your pet are on the event DVD. Please fill out the parade info sheet and bring it to the event. Do not turn it in during pre-registration. | |||

Pet / Owner Look Alike Contest | Submit a photo or come "as you are" to the event. | ||
| Distance Treat Catch | Each dog will catch a small treat thrown by owner from greatest distance. |
